How often can I use it?

We recommend using Oqiro for one session, per wrist, per day.

We have found the best results when it is used right before bed, or first thing in the morning, though this depends on your specific situation.

One session is 20 minutes, Oqiro has a built in timer which will auto-shut-off when 20 minutes is up.

Will it make my wrists sweat?

No. Oqiro uses breathable fabrics that not only deliver the support you need but also provide ventilation that won't let you sweat.

What mechanisms does Oqiro use?

Oqiro targets discomfort with three effective methods. This multi-angled approach is what gives us the edge over other solutions:

EMS: Oqiro produces small electrical currents that replicate the brain's natural signals, prompting your muscles to contract.

Heat: Our adjustable heat channels deep into affected areas which can effectively soothe interior discomfort.

Why choose Oqiro over wrist braces?

Wrist braces were designed to keep a wrist still and straight after breaking the bone to allow the bone to heal. Our approach is completely polarised from this.

Oqiro allows movement in the wrist while using heat and EMS pulse to retain flexibility and stimulate muscular contractions. This approach allows the affected area to still be mobile which is necessary with high demand areas of the body.

We also designed Oqiro to apply even pressure to the affected area, something that metal-splinted and normal wrist brace manufacturers often overlook.

Can I use it while doing other things?

Yes, but, results may vary if the thing you are doing is particularly strenuous for the wrist. For example, reading is ok but cooking may not be.

Can I sleep with it on?

While Oqiro is built with comfort in mind and could be slept in, it is designed for conscious pain relief.

For this reason we recommend its' use when relaxing because this way you will recognise the relief more so than if you were asleep.

Will it affect movement?

In short, yes.

Oqiro will offer a level of resistance to wrist movements outside of 'normal' angles of wrist flexibility. The wrist brace is deigned this way to mitigate the risk of over-extension.

Is the size adjustable?

Yes, Oqiro uses a wrap-around design which is suitable for all shapes and sizes of wrist. The contact strips are 360° and will remain in contact with your wrist regardless of size.
